Competition Saving You Gas Money

In Appleby a well known convenience store called Tom's grocery is waging a fierce battle with down the street competitor "The Niche".

Tom's has been around for years and long been a staple in the community. The Niche in contrast has only been open since mid to late June.

The competition to bring in customers has created a back and forth price plunge that benefits the people of Appleby and Nacogdoches. Take advantage of it because these sales wont last forever.

My personal opinion is to go with The Niche. Support them and keep healthy competition going so we the consumer can benefit. It doesn't hurt they have a great diner as well. The people are all very nice and friendly. Go and support them and in doing so help yourself to savings!

Restraunt Must Eat!

The Niche is a quaint diner located in Appleby Tx. They recently opened and have garnered much talk from locals about their food. The diner and convenience store are owned by Damon and Suzannah Yates. A very nice couple and always welcoming to those coming in to the diner. They serve a wonderful variety of food from burgers and bbq to steaks and enchiladas. Everything at The Niche on the menu has a home cooked feel and taste to it. You will never go away hungry as the portions are large and filling. During the week they have a varied feast on their lunch menu. Always good. I can't recommend them enough. Go and treat yourself and your family to some excellent cooking.
